2024年8月10日, 做爲紐約州執照針灸醫師聯合公會 (UANYSLA)第十四屆會長，石鋼醫生帶領部分常委參加了紐約中醫學院學生會 (New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Student Government Association, NYCTCM SGA) 以及紐約中醫學院校友會 (New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Alumni Association, NYCTCMAA) 在紐約中醫學院聯合舉辦一場晚會。晚會內容包括豐盛的晚餐，現場卡拉OK。
爲了支持年輕針灸學生加深對於針灸行業未來的就業與發展，石鋼醫生代表公會贊助了本次活動。現場共超過70多位紐約中醫學院學生、教師、校友以及他們的親友。石會長表示同學們爲中醫的未來，並向同學們介紹了公會以後的發展方向，並且向大家介紹公會以後爲大家新設的服務項目，表示公會對學生加入會員爲免費，希望大家能參與公會的活動。石會長爲每個抽到獎的學生頒發獎品。
On August 10, 2024, Dr. Gang Shi, the 14th president of the United Alliance of New York State Licensed Acupuncturists (UANYSLA), led his team members participating the Summer Party co-hosted by New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Student Government Association (NYCTCM SGA) and New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Alumni Association (NYCTCMAA) at the Atrium of NYCTCM Building, located in Mineola, New York.
In order to support acupuncture students and future acupuncturists, helping them understand their future, Dr. Shi sponsored the event on behalf of UANYSLA, through raffle prizes. Over 70 people attended in total, including NYCTCM students, faculty, alumnus and their families and friends. Dr. Shi introduced UANYSLA and it’s service to students, talked about future developement of UANYSLA and acupuncture society. He offered free membership to students, encouraging students and graduates participate in UANYSLA activities to build the future of acupuncture profession.
With the help of excellent team members, the event went very well. Students enjoyed their time after the final exam, and they earned opportunities to be connected with other professionals within the field. The event was a successful and meaningful one.
